Lady Gag is at it again. In a world where she’s surrounded by people who hate the pope and heart gay marriage, she’s bravely come out against the Pope and for gay marriage. How brave. What’s with her? She doesn’t have a hit for a few months so she blasts away at the Pope in order to be noticed and cheered?
I’m sure this will be a Hollywood example of speaking truth to power or something. Let’s clue Lady Gag in on something. The papacy will be around a lot longer than her career as a singer. The papacy has 2,000 years and going strong. Lady Gaga – four years and ???

Long-time gay icon Lady Gaga spoke out last week after the Pope told a group of bishops in France that the traditional definition of marriage, between a man and a woman, must be “promoted and defended.” On French radio, Lady Gaga said she believed “gay marriage is going to happen,” and added that “what the Pope thinks of being gay does not matter to the world.”
Over the past couple of years, the “Born this way” singer has become known as an advocate of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights. She has consistently spoken out in favor of marriage equality, and last year she was honored with the Trevor Project’s Trevor Hero Award for her LGBT advocacy work.

I would like to think that nobody cares about Lady Gaga's view on anything. Unfortunately, I tend to think that there are a lot of shallow thinkers in our culture.

"what the Pope thinks of being gay does not matter to the world." What the Pope thinks about being (born) gay and what the Pope thinks about souls in his care exercising fallacious rights are two very different truths. Most gay persons are coming into existence through the birth control hormones polluting the ground water, destroying testosterone and the militant feminists emasculating our men. Homosexuality was once diagnosed as "arrested development" by the American Psychiatric Association, changed by militants such as the North American Man Boy Love Association which violates the informed consent of a legal minor. The state is now going to lower the age of informed sexual consent. If the state can lower the age of informed sexual consent then we no longer need the National Education Association as the state can legislate that all children are educated.

I'm sure Lady Gaga has NO IDEA WHATSOEVER what the Pope thinks about someone having same sex attraction: i.e. that he loves him/her very much and wants to support him/her in bearing that cross. Now, I'm sure what she means about "being (born) gay" is having (on average, according to recent studies of men-having-sex-with-men) 7 sex partners a year or 49 in a lifetime. On that issue, Lady Gaga is probably right that the Pope does take a dim view, as he would of any human being regardless of attraction making sexual activity their idolatrous god. Of course, in Lady Gaga's mind, it's all about "gay bashing."

Lady Gaga and her handlers know their demographic. Something tells
me that if their market analysis showed that the people listening to
her product were trending to the Klan, she'd start wearing sheets.

In case Alanis Morrisette hasn't gotten enough examples of irony, here's one.
Namely, "Someone whose sole claim to fame is being a vaguely slutty version of a gimmicky Japanese pop-idol claiming that nobody cares what someone else thinks. Especially when that someone else is the freaking Pope, whose, uh, job description is 'having over a billion people care what he thinks'."
