I have been a Catholic blogger for many years now. The one thing you do as a Catholic blogger is read a lot of Catholic blogs. Over that time, I have come to realize that there a certain offenses deadly to a Catholic blogger. Some are deadly to your blog, some are deadly to you readers, and some are deadly to your soul. Patrick, I understand the article's humor but I think you missed the real Seven Deadly Sins Of Catholic Blogging.
1. Distorting opposing arguments
2. Engaging in non-stop personal attacks
3. Refusing to address legitimate opposing arguments
4. Using excessively vile language to demonize ideological targets
5. Disregarding sound principles of research and argument
6. Hiding behind a facade of victimization when called out
7. Obsessively pursuing people who have the unmitigated temerity to challenge said blogger, even to the point of calling them at work or engaging in campaigns of defamation.
