Update: The Gosnell jury has reached a verdict.
After five weeks of testimony and now ten days of deliberations, the jurors in the long-running death penalty murder trial of West Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell informed the judge that they were unable to reach a verdict on two of the 200 plus counts.
Jurors sent a note to Court of Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey Minehart around 10: 30 a.m. saying, “We are hung on two counts.” What was unclear is which two counts have caused the deadlock.
Judge Minehart asked the jury to come back into the courtroom where he asked them to reconsider the evidence and the laws and attempt to reach unanimous agreement. It is not clear what verdict has been reached on the others. But one could assume that the jury has reached a verdict on at least three of the murder counts.
I see no reason to panic here. This jury has been through the ringer and they’ve already settled over 200 counts. Now, just because they’ve decided doesn’t mean they’ve decided on a guilty verdict. But I’m hoping and praying that they find him guilty.
Think about it, a number of his employees have already pled guilty to counts of murder and testified. It would be crazy if Gosnell skated while others went to the slam. I’d expect a verdict over the next day or two.

Planned Parenthood scrambling to explain how fairy dust makes a human being human 1 minute after birth but they aren't human 1 minute before.
And hiding their spiritual jars of baby feet.

Praise be to God!
@ proudhillbilly, you bet. I can hear the tap dancing now.
On another note, should Gov Tom Ridge not be guilty then of involuntary manslaughter for not enforcing the health inspections in his state?

Absolutely!
The tentacles of rot go farther than that!
Get them where it really hurts them!
Confiscate their wealth and property!
pp is so busy cleaning up their drama right now!!!
Purging computers, deleting patient files. Covering up and hiding assets, and garbage!
Hey, IRS, why don't you go after after these "criminals" for tax evasion and fraud? For being drug dealers, practising medicine without proper licensure, improper use and lack of medical equipment, oversight and care?
How about improper handling of human remains and (uhg!) disposal of infectious, biohazardous waste!
How about contributing to the corruption of minors, assault on minors and restitution of injury to minors?
It's all going on and on and on…

I agree,
I hope Ridge loses everything!

Av8er – Actually, I think a whole lot of people are guilty here and that there should be trials for everything there can be trials for. I think it would provide a record of the corruption the industry brings. And no matter what a responsible person's opinion of abortion is, if they are responsible for enforcing health inspections and fail to do so then they are at fault as well.
