A candidate for the office of mayor of North Miami has claimed to be endorsed by Jesus Christ.
Anna Pierre has promised free healthcare for all and insisted that yes, she was indeed endorsed by Jesus. “Yes, he did endorse me,” she told reporters Monday.

And, here’s the final update from the electoral results from last night. She came in dead last. MSNBC’s take will likely be that Jesus is finished in politics.

I'm sure the headline will be something akin to:
Voters reject Christ or reject Christian politics.
Something to the effect that this minor election and who knows what the candidate projected or details in that regard, but some blanket statement as if the rejection of this person in north Miami equates to a national trend to reject Christians in politics. I'm putting $20 on that.
