Today, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), following a question on a bill under consideration in the House which would safeguard babies capable of feeling pain nationwide by banning abortion past 20 weeks gestation, said: “As a practicing and respectful Catholic, this is sacred ground to me. I don’t think it should have anything to do with politics.”
Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List, made the following remarks:
“As a mother and practicing Catholic, I have a modest proposal for Mrs. Pelosi: that she consider the Church’s teaching which says each life is sacred and reject the idea that each abortion is.“

Seriously. What good does it do this woman to wrap herself in the mantle of Catholicism? There is really no logic to it. Talk about the brain on Botox…

I do not use this word often, but I am going to use it now regarding your former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives: scumbag. Nancy Pelosi is an insufferable scumbag.

Pelvis is correct in separating her faith from her profession (whatever that is). Because if there is one thing we Christians are known for, it's NOT mixing our faith, our allies, our beliefs…even our holidays into mainstream culture. We never preach to others. We never convert other. We offer no services like education, healthcare, counseling. We just don't mix our faith with anything.

Ha! Pelosi. Not Pelvis. Even my autocorrect doesn't recognize this person as a legitimate option.

She is evil. And she and her ilk should NOT be allowed to receive the Eucharist until she publicly repents and repudiates her position. I am so tired of such scandal and sacrilege being virtually winked at with excuses and handflapping.

Can we just stop treating her like a Catholic? She has excommunicated herself. Don't ask her any questions about Catholicism or invite her to anything Catholic. I certainly am not going to ask a Muslim about the intricacies of the Trinity. Until she begins to understand she will be outside of the Church and there is really nothing we or she can do until then except to pray for her. Calling her names makes us worse. We cannot control it.

The will to live is the right to life personified.

She prays to the "tooth fairy", too!

I think this is one of the most horrific things I've heard come out of this monster's mouth to date. So not only is she unapologetic in her pro-abortion stance, she has now done a neat little rhetorical trick to make it seem as if this is part and parcel of her faith.
That no Bishop has come forward to clarify loudly and specifically that what she says is incorrect and a scandal speaks volumes about their abdication of moral authority.
Why, oh why, will they not stand up to this woman?

"practicing and respectful Catholic"
Two lies in one short phrase.
