Texas Governor Rick Perry has signed the abortion bill. Pro-aborts are not only changing their shorts over this because many abortion clinics may have to shut down but because polling indicates support for this move.
The SBA-List reports:
“This is a lifesaving victory for Texas women and unborn children,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “We thank Governor Perry, the pro-life legislators, and the entire statewide coalition including Texas Right to Life, Texas Alliance for Life, Concerned Women for America of Texas, 40 Days for Life, and so many others for making this happen.
“Texas’ monumental new law sheds light on the urgent need for action in the U.S. Senate. Unborn children and women deserve federal protection from horrific late-term abortions. Polls consistently show that the majority of Americans support protecting babies and women late in pregnancy and Senate Majority Leader Reid should bring this to the floor for a vote. If he and his Senate colleagues stand with the American people against the barbarism of late-term abortion, they have nothing to fear from a Senate vote. Conversely, remaining silent on this – especially in the aftermath of Kermit Gosnell and other abortion clinic horrors – would be both a moral and political mistake.”
“Real lives are at stake,” continued Dannenfelser. “Washington, as well as the abortion lobby, must not be allowed to ignore the women and babies suffering barbaric late-term abortions nationwide.”
This is great news. Measure how great it is by the number of lives that may be saved by it. That’s a pretty good gauge, isn’t it? And also by how much it freaks out those profiting off the killing of the unborn. That’s also a good gauge.

Very few things are as sickening as profiting from abortion, war or anything else that murders.

One good step, indeed.

The reason abortionists are squealing, is not due to diminished access! One of the reason they got into the business was because of scandalous profits and no accountability. A craven pervert's dream! Now after exposure to the truth, these back alley cats are going to be held accountable! Beware of healthcare provisionaries (doctors) that are denied hospital privileges! Means they're probably lousy doctors and no darn good! Personna non grata. They don't want any oversight. No matter what they say, they're in it for the money. More than likely, they will no longer do abortions, because they are going to have to use their undocumented, high profit margin earnings, to re-outfit their clinics and abortion centers to bring them up to some measure of standard care. Up until now clinics have been functioning sub-standardly pocketing grossly substantial amounts of money at the expense of patients. From now on, they will have to prove bare standard of care and be held accountable.
