Prepare for your second class citizenship.
In a republic, you can vote for someone who thinks like you and who you feel will well represent your ideas and ideals.
But what if a person was prohibited from becoming a representative for no other reason than they share your ideas and ideals. Basically, if you’re a faithful Christian, you may not be elected.
That is exactly what the city of San Antonio is trying to do. If you have ever openly opposed homosexuality, you are disqualified from office. No joke.
“The ordinance also says that if you have at any point demonstrated a bias – without defining what a bias is or who will determine whether or not one has been exercised – that you cannot get a city contract,” he tells OneNewsNow. “Neither can any of your subcontractors [who have demonstrated a bias] sign on to the contract.”
Moreover, according to a draft of the revised policy, no one who has spoken out against homosexuality or the transgender lifestyle can run for city council or be appointed to a board. Flowers says the Arizona-based legal firm Alliance Defending Freedom has taken a look at the ordinance.
This attempt will likely fail, but they will not stop there. They will attempt this in many ways until finally they get there way until nobody may buy or sell or get elected unless they have the sign of the beast upon their foreheads.

The logic is that this is different than a "you must be Christian to run for office" law. Why? Because it favors their agenda and excludes you.
Prsonally, I say "buy Catholic". Which I borrowed from the 1970s buy American campaign…that seems to be pretty silent as we sell our soul for cheap Chinese crap.

Well, in my mind, when they are frank about it, more folks notice, so in a way this is good. It is much better to have my fellow Christians understand that this is happening, rather than have them daydream a sweater-vested one shall save the day.

I must say, I am almost impatient for the inevitable collapse, as then we can get on with the rebuilding.

I second William Meyer's comment. Let's just get on with it already…

Well, I guess Barack Obama and Bill Clinton will never get elected in San Antonio…

I am a San Antonian…how is this the first time I hear about this? Oh, right, the cronies downtown don't want their constituency to know what they're doing because, if we did, we would vote them out in a heartbeat. Texas is still a red state; perhaps San Antonio is purple; but even mos of the Democrats here would oppose this ridiculous ordinance.
Pray for us, please. We have a fool of a mayor who is destroying our city just to be a national liberal darling.

This very much sounds like a "test act," and it certainly sounds like it can be used as such.
That was the act of Parliament issued in 1673 which prohibited Catholics from holding public office. It was so called because it also demanded that a holder of a public office give an oath swearing fealty to the Church of England and denying the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Such acts as will demand the denial of Natural Law will likely spread, and even demand oaths to the effect.

Some people in government are preparing. They are paving the way for the coming of the "beast", happily, by totalitarian suppression. Gee, he may even be here now. We are told through prophetic biblical reference, we will be made "unaware" until it is too late…Every government institution has fallen. The domino effect just hasn't finnished yet.
