For all those who like to remind that things in the Church have improved, a little story to remind how far we still have to go.
For a tradition-minded guy who writes about Catholic stuff, I mostly want to mind my own business.
It takes quite a bit for me to say anything to anyone regarding Church matters. It takes quite a bit more for me to say something to a priest. In fact, in my 46 years I have only done it once or twice before(Mostly friendly jabs at priests I knew fairly well). Nobody likes that guy and I don’t want to be that guy.
But you know what? Sometimes you gotta be that guy.
Read here to see the every day heresy we still encounter.>>>>
As always, I appreciate your support at the Register.

Good for you, Patrick. And you did it in a charitable manner. Thanks for not "taking it," and "agree[ing] to disagree," by going to the pastor of the parish about it.
Looks like the Padre didn't like that you "tested" what you heard and found that it was not good. Frankly it was down right dangerous teaching. Many souls could be in danger after hearing something like that!
Thanks, again.

Sigh. I've had to be that guy. It's so depressing whe we have to confront our priests. But good on you, Mr. A. God bless all those guys and gals!

I was received into the Church this year and during RCIA the teacher taught that the three gates in Revelation 21 represents the three Abrahamic religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam (not necessarily in the order of degree of truthfulness). Is this true?
Dear gs. No That is not true. There are 12 gates, not 3 ;and that is just the beginning of the errors.
THis is Apocalypse 21:
But the fearful, and unbelieving…, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death
but today's Ecumenical Ecclesiastics are loathe to teach this truth because it makes folks feel sad
