I didn’t read the book but this movie looks pretty awesome. It looks a really good Christian movie but without the low budgets and shaky acting. Check it out:

Wow! It really does look good.
I've always been suspicious of the book, but this movie looks really good. I wonder, of course, what the demonic mass media will do with it. If they attack it, and attack it viciously, well then I'll have to take the movie and book a little more seriously… 😉

I have not read the book and judging from this trailer I wont be seeing the movie either.I think the concept of the after life is far too trivialised with nonsense such as everyone is younger in Heaven, as if age does not have an inherent beauty of its own ( and the American accents do not help the credibility factor either.) It seems that almost all entertainment now is reduced to easily digestible pap.

I sure hope everyone will be younger in heaven, cripes. If I make it to 110 years old that's not how I want to spend my eternity!! Please God I won't make it that far up in years. Also, if a baby dies and goes to heaven, do you think it's going to just be a baby forever? I think everyone will be a perfect age in heaven, probly 33 like Jesus. What do the American Accents have to do with anything?
The movie looks better than some Kirk Cameron piece of garbage, I'll give it that. But, it doesn't look great or anything.

Few things can cause a man to despair of salvation like an earnest Christian movie. Well, maybe Hallmark Christmas movies.

I'll admit it. I kinda' like Hallmark movies.

Read the book, liked it but it didn't have a lot of content – no idea how they stretch it it no a full length movie but I love this stuff anyway and will likely see it.

Read the book, mostly enjoyed it. But in response to questions from Catholics about whether he saw the Blessed Mother, the child said that yes, he saw her, but she did not have any special place in Heaven, she was just like everyone else. That's when I started losing interest.

My recollection from reading the book was that he said Mary was often kneeling before the Father or standing next to Jesus. So she was right there with them, not out lost in the crowd.
