This is America officially jumping the shark.
For the televised New Year’s Eve celebration we’re going to see a performance by Miley Cyrus followed by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor pushing the button to drop the ball in Times Square in New York City, according to Twitchy.
That’s great. A celebrity who is inappropriate and ruining the country by lowering its standards. And then you have Miley. I wonder if Miley will ride the ball down naked while doing that croak thing that she calls singing?
I wonder what the chances are of next year having Taylor Swift and Antonin Scalia? Probably not, right?
Doesn’t matter to me, I’ll be asleep anyway.

I'd watch it if Miley got a long overdue mouth soaping and spanking and was made to apologize on nationwide TV!

Last year it was Lady Gaga and, I think, the Mayor of New York. Whoever he was, he looked embarrassed to be standing next to her. I only watched the ball drop — the musical performances on New Years Eve have been awful for years.
