The pro-aborts are the most anti-science crowd out there. So much so that a display that shows the stages of fetal development is banned at a Connecticut High School.

Nothing disturbs the worldly, secular sensibilities so much as being confronted with the reality of their beliefs and the consequences of their actions. The a Church is a constant reminder to those who have abandoned God through disobedience and denial that heir secular ways are riddled with devastating outcomes in this world and the next.

There's apparently some history to this controversy – http://www.brutallyhonest.org/brutally_honest/2014/03/muting-biological-science.html

elmccl: Yours is a very good idea. Perhaps with Mack's idea of voting on the syllabus, teachers can only teach what the parents want their children to learn in loco parentis, the children might learn about themselves and nature instead of filling abortion clinics.

So, I take it you agree that the administration was wrong in banning this display? That if we did indeed get off our duffs and elect pro-life school board directors, and those directors allowed the display, you would approve?
Also, don't most Catholics send kids to Catholic schools? Do Catholic schools have a problems with pro-life displays? Not in my neighborhood they don't.

In my local school board, they have these red apple ballots. Teachers unions endorse candidates and all their members vote for the candidate and all their allies vote for the candidate. The local newspaper even did a story and found politicians had ceased running their own campaigns and made donations to the teachers union' political action group to win the endorsement.

I still dont see the controversy with Pro-abortion folks seeing images of fetuses? If they have no problem, whats with the silence???
Nothing hides evil better than darkness. The more this next generation shaines the light upon this sick practice, the more it's evil will show.

Gosh, Mack, what a universal statement. Guess what? I vote in every local election, including school board. Boom! Disproved your statement.

Every pro life American should respectful write this school and request that they change their mind, There is nothing controversial about this display.

You are being funny but I have actually had serious conversations with intelligent, educated people who adamantly insisted that sex has nothing to do with babies. Sex is for fun and pleasure. Anything else is a side effect to be avoided or "cured." If you want to have children, then you can use sex to get that child but in their world, that is "off formulary use" to use a pharmacy term.

A nurse I worked with tried to get fetal development removed from the nursing curriculum because, in her words, "People might get the idea that it's really a baby in there." It was no surprise when she revealed that she had had an abortion.
