When belittling prayers is your go to move after tragedy, you’re probably prizing politics over people.
Included in the left’s mocking of “thoughts and prayers” is the assumption that prayers are useless and only legislation can truly solve the problem.
I’m afraid you’ve got things backwards.
Anyway, the WaPo ran a cartoon following the tragedy in Texas that took so many children’s lives. They couldn’t help but attack pro-lifers.
You get it. Conservatives want to save babies in the womb but don’t care about children getting shot in schools.
The title of the cartoon is “Thoughts and Prayers, Again.”
Here’s the thing that they’re really not understanding. Many conservatives believe that leftist gun control policies make things more dangerous. How is the government going to stop guns from coming in across the border? The same way they stop drugs?
This entire thing is despicable. A national tragedy should bring us all closer together but instead we get mocking. We get division. We receive derision.
The lives of many families were torn apart yesterday. It is human to pray for them at the most horrible moment of their lives. It is inhuman to instantly turn their loss into a political gain. Shame on all of them.

When agenda is more important the human lives this type of derision will be seen time and again. The midterms are coming and the dems have nothing to run on except emotions. And right now they have an abundance of it but for the wrong reasons.

And they will continue to stoke fear and division if they believe it will pay political dividends.

The shooter was an illegal alien who shot at the border patrol before retreating ibto the school. We need common sense immigrant control, as in banning all immigrants. Thoughts and prayers aren’t solving the feral hispanic problem. Putring the military on the border rather than sending 40 billion in military AID to Ukraine might.

We know it was a border agent who bravely entered the school and killed the murderer. We also know that the murderer killed his own grandmother in Uvalde first, then went to the school to murder children.
We also know that hoaxers have circulated photos of other people to claim the murderer was a cross-dresser and an illegal alien.
But there is no evidence whatsoever that he was either a cross-dresser or an illegal alien, or that he crossed the U.S. border from Mexico to perpetrate his attack. He is reported to have posted a photo of himself wearing eyeliner, and he came from a very troubled, fatherless home and was psychologically and emotional disturbed. He is not known to have been a gang member.
The southern U.S. border is a major problem, but this tragedy isn’t about that. Nor is banning all immigration a sensible or moral policy — and your claim that prayer is ineffective is un-Christian.

He’s an illegal alien that’s been in the US a while Even if he’s an anchor baby he’s an illegal alien in reality. And he went down there to shoot at border patrol. Even if he’s 3rd generation, he’s an illegal alien.

Thank you for the well written and sane response to the troll.
