The good news is that years Catholics were accused of believing that the pope could never say or do anything wrong. Well, I don’t think people can say that anymore.
I remember years ago, one of the first big defenses of Pope Francis is that he believed in the Devil, as if that were supposed to be a reassurance. What they didn’t tell you is that Pope Francis believes you’re the devil.
He’s all for dialogue though as long as dialogue means him calling you awful names.
It seems everyone nowadays goes to heaven…except trads.
Seriously, you look at all the problems in the Church today, how do you come to the conclusion that the greatest threat to the Church is people who attend Mass regularly and believe in the sacraments. I just don’t get it.

If I were Vatican II (because I have common sense) I would have said “Every parish shall have one service where the priest reads the Latin side of the missal, and one where he reads the vulnacular side.” Because missals already had English translations on a facing page by then. And “For languages that don’t have a parallel missal, we will make one by the end of the decade.” The end. But no, all this acrimony inatead. But it is God’s will to show that the papacy has always been an invalid inatitution and that Roman Catholicism is false and from Satan.

“But it is God’s will to show that the papacy has always been an invalid inatitution and that Roman Catholicism is false and from Satan.”
Really? You are saying that the Church Christ established is false? From Satan? Or that the Church has fallen despite Christ’s promise to protect Her? Is that how shallow your faith is? What would you have done when Judas betrayed Christ? Or when the apostles ran away from Christ in the garden or when Peter denied Christ? He placed Peter, as weak a man as he was to be head of the Church and you reject that? Go on, do what you want. I don’t care how bad the people installed in the Church are, I am NOT leaving my Lords Church. I hate what I see in the Church. I hate things that the Pope says at times but I am NOT betraying Jesus and leaving his Church. Period. You don’t believe in the Church or accept it’s leadership then tell me this? Where is the True Church if not the Catholic Church?

“What would you have done when Judas betrayed Christ?”
Judas had the decency to kill himself which your popes don’t.
“You are saying that the Church Christ established is false?”
If Jesus established on of yhe two between the RCC and the Eastern Orthodox it was the latter. Satan established the papacy to sow confusion.
“Where is the True Church if not the Catholic Church?”
If its got to be high church then EO for sure.

My personal opinion is that Taylor Marshall is the traditionalist’s version of how progressives look at someone like Fr. James Martin. He says a lot of stuff that sounds good but that good is often filled with things that can be more personal opinion then fact. He just wants to feed fires of anger and hatred so he does not feel alone in his own anger and hatred.
Over the years, he has blocked good and strong Catholics on social media platforms because those Catholics wanted to dialogue with him about something he said that was not accurate but he is not open to correction. I have seen him support good bishops and priests but as soon as they step out of line with his beliefs and way of thinking, he is on the attack. When I mean step out of line, I mean things like they are limited the TLM Mass in their diocese or they speak out about Church teaching in ways that are different then how Taylor thinks they should speak out. I was not surprised that he started to “poison” the waters of Bishop Barron’s new diocese in MN by telling his followers that they should be unhappy that Bishop Barron still wanted to be involved with Word on Fire. Many bishops, my bishop included, are involved in more then just running their dioceses. There are also many things that Taylor has said that I think is wrong. One of those things is that women who wear veils are holier then women who do not. As a woman who wears a veil, I have met much holier women who do not veil then myself. Also not that long ago, I could have sworn that Taylor had a beef with EWTN because their programming or something to that affect was not in line with his version of Catholic teaching. Regardless, in the end, I think that Taylor is happier spreading division then he is in speaking the Truth only found in Jesus.
Yes, Pope Francis does a lot of stuff that makes me question his papacy. Yet, there is a reason God has chosen him to run the Church. I think some of it came to light with the Traditionalists and the way they act towards anyone who does not agree with their way of thinking and worship. I also think that some of it came to light by the fact that some bishops and priests are now openly going against Church teaching instead of hiding the sowing of their dissent in secret. The stuff with the German bishops is not new to this papacy as those bishops have been this way for years or at least that is what a priest who studied in Rome many years ago once told me. In the end, the laity are called to fast and pray for their bishops. They are not called to feed the raging fire of anger and hatred of others. Again, Taylor speaks in a vacuum of listeners because he is not open to correction when he does speak in error. If you are not open to seeing the log in your own eye, then how can you pull the one out of your neighbor’s eye?

Your opinions of some of Marshall’s stuff are in line with mine.
I think that he is ,step-by-step, moving to the SSPX but is afraid to take the leap.
(Might affect book sales).
He is ticked at the FSSP for their response to ” Traditionis Custodes”.
He wants the Church his way.
Not surprising, given his Protestant roots.

All are welcome here under the peace-pole and rainbow flag.*
*Some exceptions apply.
It’s amusing to hear the self-satisfied remaining above it all and pointing out the flaws of ‘both sides’. As if there are two equally influential sides.
Traditional Catholics do not want things their own way, they want them the Church’s historically orthodox way. Leftists disguised as Christians want to remake the Church in their own image. There is no comparison between the two, particularly when it comes to influence. The left runs the institutions. All of the institutions, including the Church.

Frank, you say going to the SSPX like it is a bad thing. The SSPX is a very traditional, very solid Catholic organization!
As for Taylor, I think he is a very solid Catholic. Does he have biases and failings, definately, as we all do.
Have a blessed day!

SSPX is not a solid Catholic organization and are separated from the Holy See. St. John Paul the Second and Pope Benedict did try to bring them back to the fold but their leaders would not accept their terms. While the leaders might think that they are still in communion with the Seat of Peter, to my understanding canonically SSPX is not. They can at best give absolution and celebrate marriages but other than that, they are not part of the same Catholic Church founded by Jesus and given to Peter.

“separated from the Holy See.”
how can anyone still not see yhe papacy was designed by Satan to cause the great schism?
