That’s literally the worst advice in the world.
My daughter thought she was Batman. Like, she wore the mask constantly when she was three to five years old. Guess what, I didn’t believe her. I stood strong and never bought into the delusion that my daughter was actually Batman. I don’t know how I did it but I’m just that amazing, huh?

Anorexic young girls see themselves as obese. Should we believe them and encourage skeletal children to further starve themselves?
Compassion means saying things that help and protect others not things that help us avoid conflict and protect ourselves.
