If you are in the Chicago area, you may want to come to the Liturgical Institute’s Hillenbrand lecture with Jeff Greene, founder and president of Evergreene Architectural Arts in New York. His talk, entitled, “Traditional Design Principles and Their Application in Church restoration,” will address what proper design principles are and the issues that people face when they want to restore a church.

Evergreen Studios recently provided the plasterwork and decorative painting in Duncan Stroik’s new Chapel of Our lady of the Most Holy Trinity at Thomas Aquinas College and provided the murals at St. Michael the Archangel Church in Leawood, Kansas.

The lecture will take place on the campus of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL on Tuesday, July 7th at 7:00 pm. Chanted Vespers will precede the lecture at 6:30. The event is free and open to the public, but please call for a reservation and further information at 847.837.4542.
