We have just 10 more days in the merry merry month of May. As you may know, I have hung my hat for some time on the Alice von Hildebrand quote / rumor in which she quotes the Pope as suggesting that the Motu Proprio would be seen in May.
May 5th was a logical date of speculation but turned out not to be the day. As I stated then, the quote suggested May but not a specific day. We are now coming down to the wire with just 10 days to go.
We got some very exciting news / confirmation just a few days ago when Cardinal Castrillón confirmed that it remains the Holy Father’s intention to accomplish this ‘soon’.
Quoting the Cardinal, “Let us ask the Lord that this project of the Holy Father may soon be accomplished for the unity of the Church.”
Amen.
Therefore, in the absence of any hard facts, I remain committed to the May release date.
P.S. This post will self destruct in 10 days.
