OK. So now we have the DA from Philadelphia, saying we’re going to hunt down ICE like Nazis. Is that really helping?

We have a delivery nurse wishing grievous harm on Karoline Leavitt. Mind you, she drops the worst of the worst words here so just take my word for it if you don’t want to hear nasty language:

And some clown sprayed Rep. Ilhan Omar with some mystery liquid. Also, not helping.

Something is happening in this country that we haven’t seen in a long time. It’s not just “unrest.” It’s not just “protest.” It is something much more fundamental and more terrifying.

For decades, we were told that the federal government existed to protect the American people, to keep the peace, and secure the borders. But that is a joke. Our federal government has pitted people against one another and made sure the borders were left unsecured for decades.

Now tonight, we are watching a low-boil civil war play out in real-time, and no one in power seems interested in turning down the heat.

On one side, you have federal agents who are looking to arrest people who broke the law. And then we have regular people attempting to stop them physically. For those who egged this on and for those who are funding this, how did they think this was going to end?

We’re seeing an 8,000% increase in death threats against federal officers. We’re seeing people using their cars as weapons to ram law enforcement. We’re hearing rhetoric from sitting governors and mayors that sounds less like political disagreement and more like a call to arms. They’re calling federal agents “Gestapo,” “Nazis” and “kidnappers.”

When you tell people their government is literally the Third Reich, what do you think happens next? They stop using words. They start using bricks. They start using guns.

So you have a federal government that hears all this heading out into neighborhoods. You have a radicalized segment of the population that feels it has a moral obligation to commit violence in response. That is the definition of a failed state. That is how civil wars start.

The people at the top, the ones in the air-conditioned offices in D.C., they love this. They thrive on the chaos. It justifies more funding, more power, more control. But for the rest of us? For the people who just want to go to work without driving through a war zone? It’s time to be very, very careful. Because when the shooting starts, the people who started the fight are never the ones who get hit.
