Victory!!
In a notable 6-3 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld Idaho and West Virginia laws banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s and girl’s school sports, with Justice Brett Kavanaugh writing “The term ‘sex’ in Title IX… cannot plausibly be interpreted to refer to anything other than biological sex.”
I still can’t believe I have to refer to something as commonsensical as this as a victory but hey, I’ll take victories where I can get them.
Can you believe that three of the justices rules for men playing in women’s sports? Sheesh. They must really hate women, huh? Um…Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, issued the dissenting opinion. Oh. It’s not that they hate women. It’s just that they don’t give a damn about other women because it doesn’t impact them.
