According to LifeSite News, my brother Patrick has hit the big time. In a story about Miguel Diaz, they write:
The appointment of so many nominal Catholics to top positions in the Obama government has prompted one prominent writer and blogger, Patrick Archbold, to refer to Obama’s “Vichy Catholic government” – a reference to the French town of Vichy where a puppet government was set up by the Nazi’s during World War II after France surrendered to the Germans.
And you know how I feel. If it’s written somewhere on the Internet it must be true.
I tried to call “Prominent Patrick” but I couldn’t get through his people. They penciled me in to talk to “PP” (that’s what his people call him, I guess) on June 13 at 1:45 -1:48 p.m.
So, please in the future please only refer to Patrick as “Prominent Patrick” and if you do meet him in person do not look him in the eye or he will go Christian Bale on your non-prominent rear end.
I’m going to live vicariously through him for a while now and soak up this attention and then I’m going to play lawn darts with the neighbors, watch Spike television, and drink Schaefer beer until I can’t remember my own insignificant non-prominent name.

That’s a dirty word somewhere.

Haven’t I heard this one before? Like, say, Cain and Abel?

Now, Matt, you gotta admit, the reference to a “Vichy Catholic government” is a term worthy of… well, ME! But hey, I can understand how you feel. You gotta start being clever about this. Get your wife to bug his wife about it, then his wife can get on his case.
Of course, your wife may force you to give up Twitter. But this back-door method is guaranteed to work, I’m telling you.
