If you prefer to live in denial that puppet masses are the wild fiction of rad-trad minds, please stop reading right now.
No matter how many times this happens, we must remember that there is nothing to see here.
Actors and musicians presented Palm Sunday Family Mass with In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Community in Minneapolis. Christians around the world celebrated Palm Sunday with the story of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, when the crowds waved palm branches.
Remember, you never read this post.
Oh, and be sure to check out their Gym Masses with pre-mass lay speakers and Beatles tunes during mass.
Talented parish and guest musicians, relevant and inspiring songs and a community filled with the Spirit also define our Sunday Mass at St. Joan of Arc. Our musicians embrace, with joy and respect, music’s power to bring together all of the elements of worship: word, ritual and prayer. Whether an old folk tune calling for peace, a Beatles favorite or a traditional hymn made new again, we present the sacred songs of lived experience that bring all voices, young and old, together as one. Our music opens hearts to the Divine and sends us into the world with joy, hope and a renewed commitment to our mission. We would love you to come see for yourself. We’re in the Gym Sundays at 9 and 11 am.
