I couldn’t be more excited. I consider The Passion to be the most important movie of my lifetime. It’s certainly had a profound impact on my life. Our time needs great artists like Mel Gibson creating religious art such as this. Can’t wait.

Satan hates these movies.

How wonderful that this divorced man who is living with another woman he is not married to after having committed domestic violence against another woman he never married but had a child with while still married to his wife is going to tell us more about Jesus. It’s wonderful to see the profound influence strict church teaching has had on his own life.

Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness.

I suppose that since I am a sinner, I cannot open my mouth to speak for Christ.
John, if we all thought like you, there would be no one to speak and share the Gospel.

How wonderful that a man who denied Jesus became the first pope.
How wonderful that a sinner like yourself can pass judgement upon the soul of another .
“Because of her great love, her sins are forgiven her.”. Go read that passage. Who are you to say Gibson’s movie, made with love, is not counted toward his forgiveness? Oh wait, YOU have God’s measures, right?

Judge not that you not be judged. God can choose whoever he wants to spread his word. He has chosen many flawed men in the past.

Gibson was under intense attack from both the world and satan at the time he made “The Passion”, and afterward, due to it’s tremendous success. I won’t throw stones at him, especially not after the gift of this film. How wonderful to see his talent used for such good! Pray for him!

I find it very difficult to understand how this man can be taken seriously as a representative Catholic.
Divorced and remarried with scandalous public affairs, he make a spectacle of himself while intoxicated and spouting anti-Semitic hatred for all the world to see and yet is adulated.
The first Passion movie was not strictly scriptural but based upon visions by Anne Emmerich as reported by a dubious witness recognised as having embellished or invented important parts of her personal witness to him. (Her beatification was based on her heroic virtue and not on her visions and it does not authenticate them.)
