He nails it.
"Do you know who the greatest propagator of disinformation in the history of the world is? The US Govt." — @RandPaul.

Cites the Pentagon Papers, Bush's WMDs, Iran-Contra, Steele Dossier to say DHS is untrustworthy to decree "disinformation."
What national Dem would say this?? https://t.co/OUUHcj0wH4
If we allow the government to prevent disinformation, the government immediately controls all information. We can not allow this.

“Disinformation” has always and exclusively been a strategy of rulers and governments to make it easier for them to dominate and control the people. Their redefinition of “disinformation” to include “opinions that ordinary people express on the internet” is itself an act of disinformation.

The interesting thing is they say they’re not taking away your free speech but only your ability to be heard.

Mildly humorous.
How so? Your free speech doesn’t come with a megaphone attached. Your blog here is all your “opinions” deserve.
Social media platforms are businesses, and, although for tax purposes and such may be considered “people”, are governed by Capitalism, hopefully as unfettered as possible, and as such, their only responsibilities being to their owners/shareholders.
It’s seems a little odd having to explain this to someone who likely considers himself a Conservative and possibly even a Libertarian.

Yes, Matthew. You are correct.
This devious tactic comes from only one place. The pit of Hell.
