Yes. Yes. A thousand times Yes!

KXAS: A pregnant Texas woman said her unborn baby should count as a second passenger in her vehicle after she received a ticket, citing Texas’ penal code in the wake of Roe v. Wade’s being overturned.

Brandy Bottone, 32, of Plano, was pulled over June 29 after she drove in an HOV lane, or high-occupancy vehicle land, NBC-Dallas Fort Worth reported. Bottone was stopped by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, which was looking for drivers violating the HOV lane rules.

The HOV lane requires drivers to have at least one passenger in their cars when they use the lane.

When a sheriff’s deputy told Bottone about the rule, she said she did, in fact, have a second occupant in her car — her unborn baby.

Yes, this is a ploy to get out of a ticket. But I think we should support it. Let’s give some benefits to being pregnant. Look we have a baby shortage in this country. We don’t have enough of the next generation.

This would be a great way for red states to affirm their pro-life bona fides. Yes. That is another person riding in the car with you in your womb. Then women in every blue state can sit in traffic and think that if they just lived in a pro-life state they wouldn’t be sitting in traffic.

Blue State Woman:

Affirm life, Support speeding in the HOV lane.

I know what you’re thinking. Matt, if we do this women will just claim to be pregnant all the time and they’ll all be in the HOV lane.

I’d say, OK. All the women drivers would be off the road I’m on.
