In an interview yesterday, Pope Francis called Catholic Joe Biden’s position on abortion “incoherent.”
Well, to be fair Joe Biden’s position on pretty much everything is incoherent.
Catholic World Report: The Holy Father affirmed that there is scientific data that show that “a month after conception, the DNA of the fetus is already there and the organs are aligned. There is human life.”
“Is it just to eliminate a human life?” he then asked.
As for the defense of abortion by the U.S. president, Pope Francis stated that he leaves it to Biden’s “conscience.”
“Let (Biden) talk to his pastor about that incoherence,” the pope said.
I’m grateful that Pope Francis said what he said but I can’t help but wish he went a little further here. It’s not like Pope Francis is a huge proponent of subsidiarity. But we’ll take good news where we can get it, I guess.

The Pope basically said that Biden’s anti-Catholic, incoherent position on abortion is a personal matter. It’s not just private when he strongly pushes abortion publically and claims to be a Catholic.
Biden doesn’t just leave it up to women with child (yes, and only women) to dismember/burn/poison the preborn boy or girl in a violent act (human rights?), he uses the full force of the fed. gov’t to go after States that have outlawed it.

Subsidarity makes no sense in puhnishing national heretics like nayional politicians. The local city bishop can’t do it. It would have to be the national bishops’ council or the pope due to the national character of the offender. And the pope should do it to shield the national bishops from any blowback, since he is outside the country. What a moron that he doesn’t see this.
