After weeks of instigating their bent and demented minions by calling the Supreme Court decision on abortion “illegitimate” and pushing the myth that the high court is forcing Christianity (and especially Catholicism” onto the people, the Biden administration is finally condemning arson and vandalism against churches.

Sort of.

Fox News: The White House condemned arson and vandalism at houses of worship “in the strongest possible terms,” calling the attacks “despicable” and unlawful while maintaining Americans “must be able to practice their faith without fear.”

“The president is deeply concerned about these reports and condemns arsons and other vandalism of houses of worship in the strongest possible terms,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates told Fox News. “Such attacks are despicable, endanger lives and have the appalling aim of provoking fear. They are also unlawful.”

“As the president has said repeatedly, everyone must be able to practice their faith without fear, and no individual or institution should be targeted for intimidation, harassment, or violence because of their religious identity or affiliation,” Bates said.

The comments come after two churches were set on fire and a third was vandalized in Bethesda, Maryland, over the weekend.

Well, that should do it. A nice strongly worded statement from a deputy press secretary should clear this all up. That’s really using that bully pulpit, huh? Nothing says this administration is serious like sending out the deputy press secretary to respond to Fox News, amirite?

Dozens of churches have been set ablaze and vandalized recently throughout the country but not a brow has been furrowed with concern from the media. Crisis pregnancy centers have been firebombed. Threats have been scrawled on the walls saying that if abortion isn’t safe, neither are you.

And what do we get? A Deputy Press Secretary sending an email to Fox News.

Just imagine for a moment if all these acts of vandalism arson happened to a mosque. Or worse yet, just imagine if it had happened to the left’s most holy of places – Planned Parenthood facilities.

That wouldn’t be Deputy Press Secretary time. No sirree! For that we’d see Biden walking confusedly among the rubble and murmuring something off cue cards about the National Guard and white supremacy and you know the thing.

It’s only a matter of time before this anti-Christian animus starts a body count. I can’t wait to hear how sad the deputy press secretary will be then.
