All punches are not created equal, right?

Once you lose God you lose morality. What does “good” even mean without God?

Murder? Kidnapping? Torture? They aren’t necessarily evil in a godless world. You then have to ask why you’re murdering, kidnapping or tortuing. If it’s for the right cause, then it’s ok, huh?

That’s what we’re seeing from our so called elites now.

For some reason I can’t understand the left despises Israel. I don’t have a clue why. But think about this, in the 48 hours since Hamas’ invasion of Israel Barack Obama hasn’t said a word. Not one word.

At Harvard, thirty student clubs got together and issued a statement essentially applauding the killing, torture, and kidnapping of Israelis. CCNY and Columbia have acted similarly.

Larry Summers, the former head of Harvard, said he’s in shock how the administration at Harvard is reacting or not reacting.

He wrote:

In nearly 50 years of @Harvard affiliation, I have never been as disillusioned and alienated as I am today.
The silence from Harvard’s leadership, so far, coupled with a vocal and widely reported student groups’ statement blaming Israel solely, has allowed Harvard to appear at best neutral towards acts of terror against the Jewish state of Israel.

Unlike President Bacow’s strong statement of support for Ukraine after Putin’s invasion and the decision to fly the Ukraine flag over Harvard yard…

…or Dean Gay’s powerful statement on police violence, we have as yet – 48 hours later – no official Harvard statement at this time of moral testing.

…or Claudine Gay’s Statement on the Death of George Floyd.

Instead, Harvard is being defined by the morally unconscionable statement apparently coming from two dozen student groups blaming all the violence on Israel. I am sickened. I cannot fathom the Administration’s failure to disassociate the University and condemn this statement.

I very much hope appropriate statements from the University and College condemning those who launched terrorist attacks and standing in solidarity with its victims will soon be forthcoming.
To be clear nothing is wrong with criticizing Israeli policy past, present or future. I have been sharply critical of PM Netanyahu. But that is very different from lack of clarity regarding terrorism.

CNN and MSNBC are calling Hamas “fighters” and calling the horror a “skirmish.”

Let’s be clear. This is brutal widespread murder, rape, and torture. They’re killing babies and old people and shooting fleeing teens in the back.

But the left seems somewhat neutral on this. Our elites are ho hum on murder, rape, and torture.

Has AOC or the infamous squad denounced these acts of terrorism? Not that I’ve seen.

Their ideology is their God. If it furthers their goals politically then that is the greater good.

Now, remember they feel the same way about you as they do Israel. They don’t like you. The left describes Israel using the same terms they use for conservatives and Christians such as “Oppressors” and “fanatics” and “extremists.”

It’s about oppressed classes “fighting back” or “expressing themselves.” Remember the “mostly peaceful” riots that burned down cities and killed people? That was ok because that was an oppressed class pushing back against the oppressors.

But who are the “oppressors?”

Well, the FBI recently put “traditional Catholics” under investigation. “MAGA conservatives” are now on the government watchlist.

In short, anyone who stands against their political agenda is worthy of violence.

Check this out from today. The former head of the CIA seems to be calling for the death of a Senator for asking questions.

Hmmmm…

Would they punch you to stop climate change? You betcha. A murder or two for the sake of the poor LGBTQIA+ children? Yeah. Ok.

We’re seeing widespread terror and the left merely shrugs. Yeah, they don’t like the tactics necessarily but at least it’s being done to the right people, to the right class. Once you get on board with that kind of thinking, it’s just a matter of who’s the right people. It’s just point and shoot.

Update: Obama finally weighed in after many people pointed out his silence.
