In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the National Park Service plans to remove the statue of William Penn from Welcome Park, which is named after Penn’s ship on the site of Penn’s house. Seeks to make the park experience more ‘welcoming, accurate, and inclusive.’
Wait. What did poor William Penn do? And if it’s so offensive, shouldn’t we change the name of the state of Pennsylvania to something less offensive like George Floydville or RuthVaderGinsburgh?
Our erasure of our history has everything to do with taking control of the future as opposed to making a place more inclusive.

First of all, William Penn was an evil white man, need we look further? As far as changing the state name, please don’t give them any more stupid ideas than they already have!

Notice how the history of the Catholic role in culture, civilization and science has been completely wiped and when not wiped – vilified. Orwell was correct. He who controls the present, controls the past. The rewrite of our past is well underway.

His statue, on the site of his house, is being removed because he was the colonial founder of Pennsylvania, and the Democrat Party wants to create a new park on the site of Penn’s home that acknowledges that Native Americans lived there first, with the implication that it was regrettable if not horrifically evil for William Penn to found a colony as a haven for religious freedom.

And by “making the park more inclusive,” they mean “excluding Americans with colonial Pennsylvania roots.”
