In a story straight out of The Matrix or Terminator, environmentalist scientists are harvesting human stem cells to build “batteries” for A.I. supercomputers. But what makes this even more terrifying is how it works: The most sought-after source of the stem cells for these “organoids” is embryos, and they only last about 100 days until they die. I’ve never seen the later Terminator movies, but a logical ending to the whole business would be to have a human or humans escape the machine take-over via time machine into the far future.
They find only ruins and corroding machinery. World peace achieved, Sky Net shuts down.
