Yesterday, we had a story about the Pope Joan movie. In the post was provided some background about the Pope Joan nonsense. That background came from a 1998 Envoy Magazine article by Patrick Madrid.

In the original post we were remiss in properly attributing the quote to Mr. Madrid. We have since corrected the error and sincerely regret the omission.
