Me? I was looking for truth. Hard truth. That’s how I found God and Christ and the Church. Believe me, the last thing this college kid wanted was to find out that the Church’s teaching on sex and drunkenness was true and good.
It turns out that Dean Wormer was right:

Hard truths, man. Hard truths.
Anyhoo, New York City Mayor Mamdami’s choice in Director of the New York City Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants, Cea Weaver, is an atheist but has found a small hope that there is a God.

She seems nice, huh?
I’ve heard of some people finding God because they hope to see others in Heaven but this is a new one. Hoping there’s a God so that there’s a Hell to send white males to.
Um. Ok. I know that Jesuits are constantly telling us to meet people where they are but I really don’t want to meet this person where she is and I don’t want to go where she’s going.

You want everyone who rejects the lies of the Catholic church to go to Hell. You’re exactly the same as she is with less reason behind your opinion.

Karen,
I for one want no one to go to hell. But as a Catholic I know what Our Lord taught, if you denie Him and His Church you will go to Hell.
We all need His mercy!
God bless you!

But you sure will enjoy watching everyone who disagrees with you tortured forever, and I’m sure you’re slavering and slobbering with anticipation for that right now.
You, like all conservative Catholics, are a moral monster.

Gosh, Matt–I really think that you and your site deserve more thoughtful comments. Karen brought enough straw to build a whole army of Straw Man Arguments. David–bless his heart–arrived with a book of matches…
Better luck next time…
