While I was tying my five year old daughter’s shoes I said, “Be a good girl and give me your right foot.” She responded indignantly, saying, “I’m always good.”
Pause.
She added, “Well I’m always good at school anyway.”
Pause.
She added, “Most of the time.”
I interrupted her because I was afraid what I’d learn if she kept talking.

Good for you Matt, the best way to look at this is that she has a moral sense and doesn't REALLY think that she is "always good". That's signs of good things to come.
That is hilarious.
