I’ve read in a number of places some guardedly positive feedback to Donald Trump’s consideration of running for President. I’ve read how they’re pleased that he’s pro-life now. Please don’t get sucked into any of this. This is all an ego trip for Trump. He gets a lot of attention for a few months for himself and his show. And that’s his end game.
Sure, it’s true that some of the things he says about China and Ron Paul’s electability are correct but do we really want this guy even considered for a moment. Come on. The guy’s currently on a television show with Gary Busey and Meatloaf for goodness sakes.
Was Trump showing off his presidential gravitas here?

I'm with you. On the other hand, the man knows how to go into bankruptcy and come out great on the other side. Maybe he's just what the country needs right now. 🙂

I know I'm being completely naive here, but do you have a better, more plausible candidate? We cant just keep doing the same thing. I don't like Trump as a person, and I doubt he could really get elected, but at least he knows how to handle money, unlike the last few we've had.

I like him. I think he's hilarious and Rosie is intolerable.
He would also talk circles around Fauxbama on almost every topic.

Yeah, just ask all the bankruptcy attorneys he's made wealthy.

Pssh… vote Ron Paul.
In all seriousness, instead of talking about Ron Paul's electability, lets get behind him. Even if he doesn't win the Presidency, as the Republican Candidate he would bring a new set of ideas to the table, he would be a game changer in national politics. His ideas would be out there for serious national consumption in a way that they are not now.
Our politics have become so binary that having a new and different voice in the show in a serious way is more important than winning the white house back in 2012. Winning the white house is a short term game, changing the direction of the political discussion is long term and more important for the future of the country. American politics is a short term game which is why it is a failing game.
New outside voices are needed. So run Ron Paul, and in 2016 the democrats should run someone from their fringes not a typical liberal, but perhaps a true socialist. New voices = bright future. Same voices same ideas will get the same results a slow national march to apathy and death.

Google: Donald Trump's Federal Campaign Contribution Report.
Donald Trump believes in three things: Me, Myself, and I.
