I had the good fortune to visit Jerusalem this last week, and found this plaque neatly affixed to one church entry.

I was also in Jerusalem recently. The sign is actually addressed to tour guides to ensure that the Church is reserved for prayer.

FOTM,I think the true meaning of the sign is self-evident. However, it could be used elsewhere as a reliable indicator of what to expect inside. That’s why it is funny.
