Bishop Olmsted of the Diocese of Phoenix has released a video on youtube in which he states that the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman is non-negotiable for a Catholic and further states that no Catholic can legitimately disagree. He urges all Catholics in Arizona to vote for proposition 102 which would define marriage as between a man and a woman in the state constitution.
This way the unjust actions that have taken place elsewhere, via courts and legislature, won’t be repeated in Arizona.
Add Bishop Olmsted to the list of Bishops standing up and doing the right thing.

I am a proud member of this diocese! It was great to hear his strong stance…this was played before all Masses on Sunday, I believe.

It’s so encouraging to hear bishops standing up for truth like this. This issue was on the 06 ballot here in Wisconsin and our bishops had similar messages. Marriage was defended, thank God, and I hope Arizonans go the same way! St Thomas More, pray for us!
