I saw this today on a Chicago Tribune comment line: “On November 5, the day after the election, Illinois’s evening Pick 3 lottery number was 6-6-6. An ‘omen’ of things to come?” I try to resist the temptation toward irrational number and conspiracy theories, but I checked it and it is indeed accurate. See the link to the Illinois lottery here.
Statistically, the chances of this number appearing are 1 in 1,000 on any given day, so therefore the odds are still 1 in 1,000 even the day after a presidential election when the greatest promoter of abortion rights who ever ran has been elected to the presidency. But somehow, it’s still strangely fitting.

If it happens on the day after Inauguration Day too, then I might have to consider stocking up the bunker…

If it happens the day after Inauguration, screw the bunker– I’m going to get 50 gallon jugs of holy water and silver bullets. ;^p

You would probably be surprised at the number of people who play this number every day.
