The Seminary of Our Lady of Guadalupe has been operating for a number of years now for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. Designed by architect and Notre Dame Professor Thomas Gordon Smith, it was one of the earliest full-fledged buildings of the New Classical movement for the Catholic Church. Due to budget restraints, however, their chapel has been on hold. But lately the Fraternity has started the building of the chapel and have posted new photos of the construction project on their web site. One thing to note is the reduction of the great campanile into a small (but still nice) bell tower, again for budget reasons. To see more photos, visit the Fraternity’s web site by clicking here.
