This video gives you an idea of how huge the efforts that went into 40 Days for Life. God bless them. During the fall of 2008, 179 cities across 47 states conducted the groundbreaking 40 Days for Life campaign, creating extraordinary results including:
-More than 76,000 believers joined together in an historic display of Christian unity praying and fasting for an end to abortion, and conducting peaceful 40-day prayer vigils outside Planned Parenthood centers and abortion facilities
-Reports from around the country documented 614 lives spared from abortion — and those are just the ones we know about
-Eight abortion workers quit their jobs and walked away from the abortion industry.
Next Tuesday the folks at 40 Days for Life plan to reveal the campaign’s next steps on a live teleconference event.

Thank you, Matthew! A video that I have now shared with my friends and relatives. This year and last were the first times that I have ever prayed outside of an abortuary…and both times I came away changed, and maturing ever so slightly in way way Our Lord demands.
I am very impressed also with those who shared the vigil…some women who had abortions, young moms and their children, the elderly, large families, young couples…quite a cross-section of committed Christians.
