A great story, a nice kid, and parents who seem to be doing the right thing. It’s great when asked where her musical inspiration comes from. She points to her head and then says “my heart.” When her mother is asked by the reporter “what is your hope for Emily?” she doesn’t say she wants her to be rich or famous or play at Carnegie Hall. She has an even better answer. Watch the video to find out.

I've seen Emily before; she is indeed awesome.
I love how her mom isn't trying to mess her up by living vicariously through her, but remembers that she is there to raise her little girl properly. Now that's an inspiration for all parents!

What is the last thing she says? "Actually I'm just a normal kid and" what?

Teresa, she says, "actually, I'm just a normal kid and most of all I like inspiring kids."
This is a great story and her Mom has got it right. Way to go!

Nice! I really like Emily Bear! I play the piano but not as well as her. Now I'm very inspired.
