It’s fine I guess but isn’t it really just saying that if you’re wealthy feel free to have all the unmarried sex you want because consequences don’t apply to rich people. But you poor people can’t afford to have sex so don’t because you might have icky poor babies and who wants that?
OK. It doesn’t say that exactly but it’s definitely not sending the right message.

You guys are idiots not to get a message. She was merely stating that while yes, she is lucky to have the financial and emotional support of her parents, she could have been in a different situation. The girl obviously wasn't thinking about the consequences of sex, both good and bad, and she's trying to send that message to teens.
Just because her mom is batshit crazy doesn't mean that Bristol is.
