Republicans are always complaining that the media is biased. And I’m like “What?!” My goodness there are Republicans all over news programs. David Gergen, David Frum, Kathleen Parker are on television all the time.
All Republicans have to do to be a constant presence on television is to…well…attack conservatives. Is that so much to ask? Sheesh, even Parker, the columnist from the Washington Post figured out how to guarantee a spot on the Sunday morning shows. She compared conservative bloggers to terrorists and fretted about all the Right’s oh so dangerous verbiage.

Gotta watch that inflammatory rhetoric. It might actually accomplish something. GASP!

My problem with Parker's appearance is not so much that she bashed the right or tea partiers, but that she just hemmed and hawed her way through that whole interview. On the one hand not all tea partiers are bad, but we have to watch the rhetoric. Not all internet writing is bad but some people are kinda sorta like terrorists. In other words, lots of vague generalizations that belie the fact that she has no real viewpoint.
And yet she is a Pulitzer prize winner now. Unreal.

Does anyone remember the Democratic conventions during the Vietnam War? Not pretty, even violent. Those were not Republicans demonstrating. I think they are all the "adult" liberals we have to put up with these days, and probably ALL Democrats.
