A twelve year old girl saved her friend’s life by asking herself the age old question which has inspired so many good works throughout the world: “What Would Spongebob do?”
After watching this I’m still unsure how Spongebob inspired her but I thought it was really cute how she had to make it clear that she doesn’t watch Spongebob anymore. I’ll let it be known that I’ve been known to chuckle more than a little at Spongebob, although I find Phineas and Ferb a bit funnier.

Yeah, I don't see how SpongeBob inspired her, either… but still a great story!

Phineas and Ferb is awesome… and I'm not a 42 year old man either.

I think there's an episode where Squidward is choking and Patrick saves him, I'm told by my resident experts. Whether the Heimlich is used or not is in question.
What I liked about the girls is how articulate they are. I remember YouTubes of college students discussing religion and there were more "like" and "you know" and "ums" than actual sentences. It was painful.
Kudos to the principal.

Squidward is choking on a fork while laughing so hard because he ended the friendship between spongebob and patrick. I feel like such a loser right now.

Phineas and Ferb are the best! The writers are brilliant.

As the father of a 4 year old Sponge Bob Squarepants fan, I've seen EVERY episode of the show several times.
There are times when I have SBSP overload, but really, the cartoon can be pretty funny.
I'm disappointed that the girl now disavows the guy.

when i was 5 i got stuck on the top bunk of my bed (which i wasn't allowed on). my friend climbed down and left me because i was scared. i remembered an episode of he-man where he parachuted from a tree to the safe ground and thought i should do the same. so i grabbed the afghan on the bed and flung myself over the edge….and splatted on the ground. glad this ended up better for these girls (but i'm not a spongebob fan…phineas and ferb for me)

That redhead on the right? PUT HER IN THE MOVIES! That's on-screen talent right there.
