Planned Parenthood clinics across Iowa are fine tuning an “advanced” and novel way to abort babies – by remote control.
According to reports, about 1,500 women have already used a videoconferencing system to obtain abortion drugs over the past two years. Planned Parenthood’s system now allows a doctor in Des Moines to meet with patients across the state through video conference. At the end of the teleconference the doctor presses a button on the computer to activate a drawer at the patient’s location that contains R-U 486.
The patient then takes the pills while the doctor watches. Death by remote control…Continue reading at the National Catholic Register>>>

That is beyond disturbing. Not surprised that Planned Parenthood has impletmented this. Pure evil…

As if the process wasn't dehumanizing enough, now the doctor can't be bothered to come in person. What have we come to?

Do the women get an actual medical examination at any point? Or just a talk with the doctor? It seems to me a thorough examination would be important, since the RU-486 pill has a number of frightful possible complications, even fatal ones. A thorough knowledge of the patient's condition would be a must.

If the mother dies, too, that's just two for the price of one for the eugenicists in this country. No real loss, as far as their concerned. Now, she can't get pregnant, anymore, and they don't have to worry about medical care for her cancer and/or depression later on. It's all about the money.

Where has this country gone? When a woman in labor can't be left well enough alone for fear of "preventative medicine" as they're poked and prodded throughout their labor. And yet, if you want to kill the baby, you don't even have to meet face to face! Yuck! Just yuck!!

Abortion clinics haven't been held to proper medical standards in years. We're sending women into danger and babies to the slaughter but just watch as they're hailed for increasing access to equality while they sign the death warrants of women and children.

Not disturbing at all. The pagans left their babies on the sides of the road for the wolves to "take care of," just like the stories of Romulus and Remus. The Phoenicians fried them alive on heated altars in the shape of hands and mouths.
What difference does the method make, once we are reconciled to, determined upon, the aim?
We must never be surprised by sin. But it is sad – just one more step down a very dark alley. The lights really are going out on the West.
This latest tragedy is really a good thing, in its own way. We've known for a long time that the abortion lawlessness in the West is the most blatant hypocrisy. Recent developments, like the Italian hospital cases (we've long since reconciled with live birth "abortion" in this country) and this doctor-less doctoring, make the hypocrisy patent to anyone with the slightest ounce of integrity, good will, or even circumspection. A headache, as PattyinCT wrote, couldn't be "treated" this way. Anyone who hasn't gotten themselves wrapped around an axle defending abortion-on-demand at-all-costs will have one more datum by which to see the thing more clearly.
People have been turned off to so-called "liberalism" and abortionism and homosexualism by just such shams.
Pray, friends, that God bring something new out of this dark death.

Abortion is getting more and more creative.
