The story is set in the ‘70s, in the town of Bethlehem… Maryland. One day, a new couple arrives in town: Joseph and his pregnant hippie wife Mary. Naturally, the town comes to think that the Second Coming of the savior is imminent.

Why the silence on the Sherrod story? This is an injustice that was committed against a fellow American. We are to be Christ-like and condemn the sin of false witness against a neighbor. Please post a piece on this story.

I assume you're talking about the part where Sherrod implies that all opposition to Obama and health care is motivated by racism, right?

Perhaps there should be a story about all of the cheering of the NAACP members when she told of withholding help to a "white man."

Getting back to this movie for a second…
Is this REAL? For once I am not sure if my sarcasm detector is broken from an overload of if this is REALLY going to be made. If it's real….whew…. just unbelievable.
As for Sherrod: She blamed Foxnews and they didn't even run the video until AFTER she was fired – and they ran all they had been given. What is really disturbing is that everyone thinks is OK that, well, she was a racist 25 years ago. The audience all thought that was great, and the rest of her speech ALSO shows that she is still a racist. She should still have been fired anyway because her position @ Dept of Ag. forbids political speeches and she was attacking Republicans in it. So ridiculous.
