Remember how in school teachers would threaten you with some infraction becoming part of your PERMANENT RECORD!!!!! And even back then we thought to ourselves it’s all a big fat lie. We knew there was no such thing as a permanent record. Well guess what, we were wrong. Kids in England now have these very strange permanent records which details if they’ve shown any “racist” or “homophobic” tendencies. And already 30,000 children in the UK have been labeled as such.
And it gets worse.
Weasel Zippers reports:
More than 10,000 primary school pupils in a single year have been labelled racist or homophobic over minor squabbles.
Even toddlers in nursery classes are being penalised for so-called hate crimes such as using the words ‘white trash’ or ‘gaylord’.
Schools are forced to report their language to education authorities, which keep a register of incidents.
This leads to at least 30,000 primary and secondary pupils per year being effectively classed as bigots because of anti-bullying rules.
The school can also keep the pupil’s name and ‘offence’ on file. The record can be passed from primaries to secondaries or when a pupil moves between schools at the request of the new head.
And if schools are asked for a pupil reference by a future employer or a university, the record could be used as the basis for it, meaning the pettiest of incidents has the potential to blight a child for life.
Try to convince me that these records won’t be eventually used for channeling certain kids into re-education camps. Come on. Try to tell me. So if parents in the UK were looking for more reasons to homeschool consider this reasons number 3,4985,873,429.
Oh yeah, so far I haven’t seen any classification for anti-Christian behavior. I guess they don’t think that’s worth noting.

These sorts of permanent records and "human rights commissions" are Leftist Sharia: you will conform to the Leftist religion that governs society and all social interaction or you will be found guilty of impiety of the Leftist variety and your life will be ruined.

Is homeschooling even legal in the UK? I know that in several European
countries, Germany for one, it is against the law to homeschool one's
children.

Huffington Post reports two more teen suicides from bullying today…"
People that call rejection of sin bullying are the same that cheer Elton John buying a baby on the open market.
Sick depraved people cause these suicides, not people that reject sin.
Nobody ever killed themselves for being a distraught heterosexual.
Homosexuals need to take their sin back into the closet.

Unfortunately, bullies have always existed, however suicides a result of them seem new or at least much more common. Are they just given more publicity now or has something else changed?

So bullying is just "rejection of sin" — wow! And, of course, we can always trust the bullies to know what sin is, right? EVERY kid that's ever been called "faggot" on a playground MUST BE an homosexual, right? Because there are no false accusations, are no sadistic boys who take pleasure in torturing the friendless, are no catty girls who delight in ostracising those they are envious of. No — we should trust the bullies because they know better than the kids they prey on.
Wow — let's making blaming the victim official policy!
Never mind what Christ said about loving our enemies, or what Saint Augustine said about rejecting sin but not the sinner, NO! let's bully those little sissy boys until they either straighten up or do away with their miserable selves!

Dutchman, you're pushing it. Rejection of sin is not saying "faggot." Rejection of sin is not false accusations. Calling someone a bad name is a sin, too.
You could make your point better by not going to extremes or making your own false accusations.
Keeping permanent records of what kids say is horrible. Kids will be marked for life. You think suicides are high now? Just wait.

Maybe keeping permanent records of what kids say will be ineffective at reducing bullying, it can be debated, but you can't defeat something with nothing. Bullying is a huge problem and needs to be addressed and, typical of this blog, no solutions are being offered here, just knee-jerk criticism of any and every government attempt to solve or ameliorate a problem.
It would be a lot easier to take this blog seriously if, instead of merely rejecting solutions to problems offered by others, the bloggers were to lay out their own program for addressing the issues of the day.
Frankly, I don't think that keeping records of what bullies to will be effective (I favor segregating them into special high-discipline schools) but no solution is offered here.
Similarly, whenever health care is discussed, every government initiative is rejected while no counter program is suggested. Is it acceptable that we have a highly inefficient system that leaves 50 millions of Americans uninsured? Make a case of it if you believe that, but don't just go trashing every suggestion made by others without putting forth one of your own.
