You might recall that in 2006 the people of Idaho voted to affirm marriage was between a man and a woman. Well, a judge just decided that advancing the gay agenda was more important than democracy and ruled that their decision was unconstitutional.
U.S. District Magistrate Judge Candy Dale has the name of a stripper but she fits right in with her fellow judges/black robed oligarchs who believe their whim must be made law. She wrote in her decision that marriage works a fundamental change on the lives of all who experience it, and it holds immense personal and spiritual significance.
Societal significance too. But methinks Candy doesn’t want to think about that.
She said that saying marriage is between a man and a woman stigmatizes gay couples and relegates their families to second-class status.
No mention of how polygamous couples might feel being relegated and all, Judge Candy? Or is that next month’s judicial overreach?
Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter has announced that he intends to appeal. He said he intends to take it all the way to the Supreme Court if he has to. He said, “I am firmly committed to upholding the will of the people and defending our Constitution.”
Well, at least someone is.
