This is disturbing. And sad.
As Christians are being slaughtered around the globe, President Barack Obama used an Easter season prayer breakfast as a jumping off point to call out Christians as “less than loving.”
“On Easter, I do reflect on the fact that as a Christian, I am supposed to love,” Obama said. “And I have to say that sometimes when I listen to less-than-loving expressions by Christians, I get concerned.”
After an audible murmur from the gathering, Obama pulled himself back. “But that’s a topic for another day… I was about to veer off. I’m pulling it back,” the president said.
Just last month, our President warned Christians not to get on their “high horse” when discussing Muslim violence against Christians because…Jim Crow or something. But it seems that the president has no problem getting on his high horse to call out Christians for failing to live up to his surely very lofty standards.
This is all about the religious freedom laws. He doesn’t like that some dare stand against him.
The thing that gets me on this one is that Obama desperately wants to go off on Christians right there. He’s dying to. You can see it. But he doesn’t want the headlines so he pulls back. And it kills him.
