A German Court has decided that the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is not a Religion. That’s because it’s an internet meme that wants to have social relevance. And a road sign. Yeah, that’s what they want -a road sign. Because to looney lefties all things come down to government and in order to exist one must have government recognition. And a road sign would do that for them, I guess.

But they didn’t get it. So…sad atheists.

Religion Clause:

In Germany, a court in Frankfurt an der Oder has upheld a decision by the Infrastructure Ministry of Brandenburg to deny the Church of Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) a permit to put up signs announcing its religious services. As reported this week by The Vanguard, FSM contended that it should be able to erect road signs publicizing its “noodle masses” just as local Catholic and Protestant churches erect signs giving details of their worship services. However the court ruled that FSM is neither a religious community or a community with a common world view.

The court said that the people in the organization held no common views. And that is the truth. They are held together by what they don’t believe, not by what they do believe.
