So we’re going to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This could be a major moment in the history of the Church and the world. And we get to take part in it. 100 years of prophecy, secrets, and agendas could come to a miraculous end on Friday.
So many questions. Does the pope doing this imply that the consecration had NOT been done properly in the past? Does the pope’s invitation to the bishops to join fulfill the request for an order to the bishops? I think it does. I hope it does. Does the text of the consecration fulfill the request in that it includes humanity? I think the fact that it specifically says Russia fulfills it but others differ.
Taylor Marshall and Matt Gaspers discuss.
You’ve got to admit that you live in exciting times.

I don’t understand the happiness over this. I mean, yes… it’s good, of course. But Pope St. JPII also did this. This is NOT what Our Lady of Fatima requested…. it HAS to be “in union with all the Bishops of the world”… which THIS IS NOT.
So, while, yes, this is good … consecrating any country to our Lady is good … this is not super awesome, jump up and down awesome. Unfortunately.

“So we’re going to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
Which is meaningless and philosophically impossible. Nobody can be consecrated to a god or goddess except by consecrating THEMSELVES. People can consecrate INANIMATE OBJECTS but not other people or groups of people. Fatima is a delusion. And the “sacred heart of mary” cult is creepy and weird.

“Nobody can be consecrated to a god or goddess except by consecrating THEMSELVES. People can consecrate INANIMATE OBJECTS but not other people or groups of people.”
Your claim is contrary to the Catholic Faith. We Christians have been consecrating and asking God to save persons and nations for more than two millennia.
“Fatima is a delusion.”
Holy Mother Church, however, says the apparitions and private revelations are worthy of belief. I’ll stick with my Momma here.
“And the ‘sacred heart of mary’ cult is creepy and weird.”
In modern times it is the cult of or devotion to the “Immaculate Heart of Mary.” The older form of the devotion was to Our Lady’s “Sacred Heart.” But one does not find Catholics refer to the devotion as you have. It’s almost as if you haven’t the slightest idea what you’re talking about. Are you even Catholic? Judging from your remarks here, it seems you’re not, but are merely another online extremists spouting his personal opinions.
“Because Fatima is a cult, from the devil, and its followers are all crazies.”
Yes, Fatima is a cult. So what? Catholics have always participated in cults, for it is the will of God that we do so.
Fatima from the Devil? How can Satan cast out Satan? If the devil’s house is divided against itself, then surely it will fall.
Devotees of Our Lady of Fatima are insane?
I don’t know how to break it to you, but it’s not Fatima devotees who are sounding crazy here.
“Mary never asked for a consecration of Russia, nor does that even make sense. ”
It makes perfect sense to Catholics — and Our Lady did instruct us to consecrate Russia to her Immaculate Heart, at Fatima in Portugal in 1917.
“Russia is Eastern Orthodox not even Roman Catholic, so it makes no sense to talk of consecrating Russia to Roman Catholicism’s idol ‘the sacred heart of mary’—and if a Fatimisg responds thag its precisely because they are Orthodox that such a boneheaded request would be made by ‘the queen of heaven’ then why did she not request it of Greece or any other Orthodox country?”
“Roman Catholicism’s idol.” Yep, there is it — that commenter is not a Catholic. Sounds like a member of some wacko little Protestant sect.
The evils of Marxism and nationalist cesaropapism are promulgated and promoted chiefly from and by Russia, not Greece. Apart from the fact that the Orthodox Churches are schismatic, Russia is not a Christian society any more and hasn’t been for a long time, and the Russian ‘patriarchate’ is nothing more than an arm of the Putin neo-Soviet regime.
“Fatima is Mohammed’s daughter—the only reason the Vatican ever propagated this farce was to get you idiots to worship Islam by constantly saying ‘Fatima! Fatima! Fatima!'”
Wow. That is the most hilarious, ridiculous thing I’ve read is quite some time.
Fatima is a place in Portugal. It was named after the false prophet’s daughter, but it is beyond risible to allege that the devotion to Our Lady of Fatima is a secret Vatican plot to trick everyone into becoming Muslim.
Stop it with your blasphemy, George.

Taylor Marshall seems intent on nitpicking everything about this….TO DEATH!
As of this week, I will no longer listen to him. The comments that he is eliciting from his listeners are disturbing, to say the least.
He is intentionally leading his followers away from participating in Prayer on March 25th.
I never thought that he would be this way, but I was wrong.
