A Supreme Court nominee actually said she couldn’t define the term “woman” because she’s not a biologist. Because of this, I have some questions.
So if we can’t define what a woman is, how do we know that they only earn 77 cents for every dollar a man earns.
Couldn’t we just extrapolate the definition of a woman by saying, “not a man.” Or can we not define “man” either. If we can’t define “man” how do we know they’re toxic?
If we don’t know what a woman is, why is it so important that we get a woman on the bench.
Joe Biden nominated a woman. Is he a biologist?
So, should all the “Women’s Studies” in all the colleges across the country now be run out of the biology department?
Instead of calling women something offensive like “bleeders,” couldn’t we just call them really slow swimmers?
Wasn’t it bad enough that the “party of science” couldn’t define what a “human” is, now they can’t even define what a woman is? Is this really progress?
Should Justice Ketanji Brown recuse herself from any cases involving women or gender since she doesn’t know who these so called “women” are?

The states need to start saying “I can’t define what a federal government is; I’m not a federalist.”

…and we’re losing to these guys…?

I’d like to see them take up the flip side of this.
“Do you think it would be convenient if there were a single short word that meant ‘a person who, at some point of a natural life, menstruates; a person with a womb’?”
“Could you suggest a single short word that has that meaning?”
“Are you aware that such a word already exists?”
This could, for example, be useful to avoid the awkward phrase “persons who menstruate” on hygiene products inside bathrooms.
You could so the same thing with “birthing parent”.

For purposes of the Catholic church, “woman” = “inferior worthless half of the human race, which exists solely and entirely to do all the disgusting and annoying work men refuse to do, also punching bags for husbands.”
March 24, 2022 at 6:39 pm
Actually the other half of the image of God. So sad you are deceived too this level.

The Catholic church absolutely does NOT teach that women are in the image of God. Whatever formal mouth-noises your organization makes about women are refuted in every single church it has every time a priest does anything. You teach that only men can be priests because only males are capable of being the Image of Christ. Christ = God. Women cannot share in the Imago Christi, so regardless of anything else you might mutter about us, you really do think we do not have the Imago Dei. Your behavior belies your words.

You optimize the definition of a “Karen”.
SO glad not to know you personally. You would suck the life – and, possibly, the soul – out of anyone unlucky to know you.

Like being a sewer worker which is 99% men
Bricklayers 99% men
Garbage workers are 99% men
Etc
Most disgusting jobs are actually done by men

They get paid. Housewives have no money other than what the husband decides to give them, and he can always decide to give his wive nothing.
In traditional marriage, the wife is dirt and the husband is king. No fancy words can change that reality.

Karen,
I am guessing that you are single/never married.
March 25, 2022 at 11:58 pm
Married 35 years, to an ex-Catholic.

I use my own last name, not his, and I always made my own money, usually more than he did. I kept my finances stringently separate, although I pay the mortgage and insurance. I have my own retirement and my own savings. If my husband wants to buy me something, he can do so, but I don’t need or depend on him for a single thing. That’s why we’ve been married this long.

Sounds like you don’t like him very much.
You are very independent, but a very sad person.
Whatever floats your boat.
March 27, 2022 at 8:23 pm
I like him. I never want to be dependent on him, which allows me to continue liking him. Dependence always and in each instance breeds resentment in both the dependent and in the depended-on. It is not possible to love someone who will always be needy and helpless. (Unless you’re an egomaniac who can’t relate to anyone except as the Boss, like all traditional men are.)
