I don’t know if it’s true that people can actually die from laughter but please be assured nothing of that sort occurred last night to anyone watching SNL, the former comedy show.
This is honestly the least funny thing I’ve ever seen. And this opened the show. There’s not one even remotely funny thing here. Not even clever. It’s all “how stupid are conservative men” and “aren’t women brilliant.” It’s pathetic.
Leftism kills comedy because it becomes subservient to the cause of leftism.

I’m 13 seconds into it, and already I’m screaming at the script: “THAT’S NOT WHAT JUSTICE ALITO SAID!!!” I get that it’s supposed to be “funny,” but there’s got to be some element of truth behind it, otherwise the satire is as flat as a fifty year old open thermos filled with 7-up.

Back in the late 90s even Mad TV was way funnier than SNL. By the early to mid 2000s SNL wasn’t funny at all. But Mad TV had the guts during the Dem primaries leading up to the 2008 election to make fun of Hilary and Obama both and make a skit with Hilary saying “You have to vote for me. What are you gonna do,…vote for the black guy?” When Obama got in he had Mad TV taken off the air. Its obvious. They were hilarious, and they were beating SNL, but SNL is the one that survives? It was political punishment for savagely roasting him and Hilary.
